Titanic's designers used the most advanced technology available at the time and the ship was popularly believed to be "unsinkable."

The Titanic disaster ranks as one of the worst peacetime maritime disasters in history and by far the most famous. It was a great shock, despite the advanced technology and experienced crew.

Amati's RMS Titanic is an achievement of monumental proportions! Accurate to the last detail, the finished model is a true museum quality masterpiece.

Plank-on-frame kit contains laser cut wooden parts and flexible limewood deck and hull planking. Hundreds of photo-etched brass parts replicate ornamentation and other fine detailing. Molded plastic lifeboats, brass wire, nails and eyebolts, cast metal anchor and propellers supply life-like realism. Even the smokestacks are complete with copper rivets!
