Background information
The Hawker Sea Hurricane was created as a naval variant of the legendary RAF fighter Hurricane. Urgently needed to escort convoys in 1941, regular Hurricanes were equipped with arresting hooks and reinforced undercarriage. The Mk.IIC version featured improved armament with four 20mm Hispano cannons and proved extremely effective against German long-range reconnaissance aircraft. Today only a few examples remain, making this model kit a special way to honor this historic aircraft.
