John Builds Iconic Military Model Basic Clamps
by using the wing nut the piece comes apart as 3 parts.
The parts are hand made so not a precision article.
The wooden clamp is approximately 35mm long with a jaw of 25mm
You can place the clamp through a porthole or gun port and apply pressure both sides of the hull to secure wood whilst gluing etc.
When the glue has dried by undoing the wing nut the metal thread and part of the clamp easily can be removed.
