| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. All prices are shown in pounds sterling If you are shopping from outside of the United Kingdom, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency at a rate prevailing at the time. As a guide, we also show our prices in Euros & US Dollars We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Electron, JCB and Solo. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you a dispatch notification or invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
| Shipping And Handling Our postage cost calculations are based on the total weight of your final order. Your cost will be worked out at checkout once you have finished adding items to your cart. Free mainland UK delivery on orders over £200. Exceptions to this are certain models from Graupner, due to the size of the boxes these kits are packed in we are unable to offer free shipping. Models include all the Graupner ARTR Range, the Graupner Manhattan, Moonraker, Seabex, and the Atlantic Challenger. Free Delivery applies to 48hr service only. UK orders are sent either by Royal Mail or by DHL Courier depending on the weight/value of the parcel. Postage costs range from £0.99 for a small packet up to £6.81 for a DHL courier delivery to mainland UK. Overseas orders are sent by airmail or by courier, all courier charges are at cost. Our online ordering system automatically calculates shipping charges to the country of destination. As an approximate guide we say. Airmail Letter Post: between 3 and 14 working days, but can take up to 30 days. Europe : 4-5 working days from shipping date. Rest of World: 5-10 working days from shipping date. Please Note: Airmail has a 600mm maximum package size. If you select this option and you order any 1 metre lengths of timber, then these will be cut in half. Any order containing timber (except kits obviously) will be subject to a £3.00 shipping surcharge over and above the shipping charges you select. When ordering goods from Cornwall Model Boats for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. |
| Delivery Schedule We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 3 working days. Despite our best efforts, from time to time some items do temporarily run out of stock. If your order contains an item(s) that are out of stock, we will, at our discretion, wait until all items are in stock before processing your order or send the in stock items to you with the out of stock items to follow at a later date - you will not be charged any extra P&P for this. We do not take payment for any goods until they are ready for dispatch. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. We make all reasonable endeavours to meet any stated delivery dates, however, any delivery dates given are only estimates and can change for reasons beyond our control. |
| Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. Orders shipped outside of the EU will be VAT free. Local import duties and customs clearance charges are the responsibility of the customer. |

In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. | Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm Customers have the right to cancel goods 7 working days without giving a reason. In the case of goods, the 7 days commence from when the customer receives the goods. Items must be returned unused, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and in re-saleable condition. Delivery and collection charges are non-refundable. We will return your money within 28 days of cancellation. PLEASE NOTE: All damaged/faulty goods or discrepancies must be notified in writing within 7 days of receipt. All returns must be authorised by us, and must be returned in suitable packaging, bearing our returns number on the outside. Returns not complying with these terms will be refused. What is refunded when I return an item? When you return an entire order you will be refunded the price of the item paid at the time of purchase. When you return less than the entire order you will be refunded just the price of the items returned. If you are returning goods as not suitable we have a restocking fee of 10%, on products not returned within 7 days of delivery this is to recover our charges. If your order qualified for free shipping, we will also deduct shipping cost from the goods returned. |
