Amati Wells Fargo Stage Coach
A beautifully detailed kit of a United States Wells Fargo stage coach, which was used so much during the 'Wild West' period. (1820's - 1900) .
The scale is 1:10 and the kit is very detailed, the cabin, wheels and chassis are finely realised miniatures of the full size coach, but are quite easy to assemble, thanks to the materials (which are laser cut for the wood parts and photo etched for the metal parts), and very comprehensive construction plans and instructions.

Victory Models - Russian 20 Gun Brig MercuryThis is the 6th kit from Victory Models. The Russian 20 gun brig Mercury was laid down in Sevastopol on January 28, 1819. She was designed as a patrol ship to guard the Northern Caucasus coast. Built of Crimean oak, with a shallow draught and equipped with oars, the Mercury was launched on 7 May 1820 and broken up on November 9, 1857.
The construction follows the same methods for the new Victory Models range; laser cut wooden parts throughout, many photo etched brass fittings and decoration, special photo etched copper plates, a huge amount of the highest quality wood strip in many sizes (First planking in lime wood, and second planking in walnut - masts and spar dowel is also walnut - not ramin), and construction plans and instructions that are ranked among the best and easy to follow in the field (There are 17 large plan sheets and a 40 + page A4 construction booklet!). The carronade beds are laser cut in walnut, and each assembly has 7 photo etched parts. The carronades themselves have been made specifically for Mercury. The lower and main decks are laser engraved with the exact patterns of the original vessels' planking detail. There are multiple sets of photo etched fittings, including stern and quarter gallery fittings of the highest detail, reflecting as close as can be achieved to the original full size vessel. There is also a historically accurate full flag set and baseboard and cradles included in the kit.

 | New Maquettes Model Boat KitsMaking a welcome return to the UK market after an absence of around 3 years, the New Maquettes range of model boat kits is finally back in production and available from stock.
All models feature plank on frame construction with pre cut frames and deck and are complete with fittings sets, plans and English instructions. The fittings are a combination of brass, injection moulded plastic and resin castings. The models can be built either as static display or radio controlled.
The models vary in design from working tugs, trawlers, coastal patrol vessels to the impressive France Ocean liner. All are designed to be built as working models but are equally good as static display kits.

Billing Boats HMS Victory 1:75th Scale B498 The Real Ship:
HMS Victory was launched in 1765 at Chatham Dockyard and was commissioned in 1778. She continued in active service for the next 34 years which included her most famous moment "The Battle of Trafalgar" in 1805. In 1812 the Victory was retired from frontline duty and anchored in Portsmouth Harbour, on the south coast of England. For the next 110 years the Victory remained at her moorings in Portsmouth Harbour fulfilling a combination of practical and ceremonial roles. In 1922, amid fears for her continued survival, the Victory was moved into Portsmouth’s Royal Naval Dockyard and placed in No2 Dry Dock. Her Majesty’s Ship Victory is the only surviving naval warship that represents the skill of naval dockyard shipwrights, ship designers and the industrial ability of Britain during the mid 18th century.
The Model:
The model is a beautiful double-planked "plank-on-frame" lasercut wooden ship, with brass cannons, wooden blocks and a beautiful bronze cast figurehead. The model is a complete replica of the actual ship that lies in dry-dock at Portsmouth. The Model is one of the largest kits on the market produced of the HMS Victory, in Scale 1:75, Length 134 cm from stern to bowsprit, and with a height of 89 cm.

Billing Boats Vanadis - B502
In the mid-1860’s a Swedish distilling company placed a contract with the Stockholm dockyard of Soedra Varvet for the construction of a fast, elegant sailing schooner. In 1868 the 29 m long Vanadis was launched, rigged as a Newfoundland schooner. During her colourful career the vessel’s high speed was in demand, and at times she operated as a smuggling boat and as a customs vessel. She now serves as a charter vessel for extended sailing cruises, and has taken part with great success in international regattas.

 | Victory Models - HMS Pegasus 1:64 Scale Swan Class SloopThe fifth kit in the Victory Models range is the sister ship of HMS Fly, the HMS Pegasus. The kit was developed using copies of original Admiralty plans for Pegasus.
H.M.S. Pegasus was the sixth vessel built of the Swan Class of ship rigged sloop, of which twenty five of the class were built from 1766 to 1780.
Pegasus, as with the entire Swan class was designed by Williams and her construction was ordered by the Admiralty on 1st August 1775 to be built at Sheerness Dockyard. The keel was laid in May 1775 and launched on 27th December 1776.
The HMS Pegasus kit includes all new photo etched parts, (Which include footrope styrups,hammock cranes, oars and other boat fittings, complete stunsail boom fittings, decoration etc), laser cut wooden cannon carriages, (instead of metal) a ship's boat, photo etched copper plates, flag set and very detailed drawings, plans and instructions. The dowel for the masts and yards is now in walnut, instead of ramin, keel and bulkheads are laser cut in 5mm Marine grade plywood. Other parts are laser cut in solid walnut, walnut plywood and 1mm Marine grade ply.

The Bernhard Gruben is a scale model of a 23 m cruiser based on original drawings supplied by the Deutsche Gesellschaft zurRettung Schiffbrüchiger (German Association for the Rescue of the Shipwrecked - www.dgzrs.de).
The ocean-going rescue cruiser was christened Bernhard Gruben on 16.10.1997,after the foreman of the Alfried Krupp who was lost at sea during a mission in 1995.
Since 05.08.1997 the Bernhard Gruben has been stationed at the Norderney rescue base.

Graupner Soundswitch Programmable Sound ModuleThe Soundswitch has been specially developed for RC modelling, and is designed to allow models to generate their characteristic running sounds, varying automatically according to the model's speed. In addition to the running sounds the module can reproduce up to sixteen different supplementary sound effects.
Automatic engine start, accelerate, stop, idle, brake andreversing sounds can also be reproduced. Four sound reproduction channels are available, i.e. a maximum of three supplementary sound effects can be reproduced at any one time in addition to the normal running sounds.
The set includes software which can be used to transfer your own recorded sounds to the module via a PC.
All sounds stored on the module can be modified at any time. Integral high-performance output stage for connection to a loudspeaker.
Seven switched outputs are available, for connection to LEDs, lamps, relays etc.; various lighting effects can also be exploited.
The Soundswitch is connected directly to the receiver, and detects the vehicle's running speed in parallel with the speed controller.

 | Billing Boats Evelyn Rose - B524A typical English cod fishing trawler from the 1950's to the 1970's sailing along the east coast of England from Ipswich to North Sunderland and Northumberland just below the Scottish border. The boats were equipped with a 150 HK Diesel Engine. The boats were hauled up on shore via a line fastened to the bow. The crew on these vessels were between 3-5 men.

Billing Boats Absalon - B500The Danish Defense Plan 2005-2009 included the construction of three new frigate sized patrol ships for the Royal Danish Navy. These ships are to replace the more than 25 years old corvettes of the NIELS JUEL Class. With a displacement of an estimated 6,200 tons, the new patrol ships will have double the size of the last frigates in the RDN, the frigates of the PEDER SKRAM Class (1966-1990), and more than four times the size of the corvettes, which they are intended to replace. The patrol ships are to be built at the Odense Steel Ship Yard at Lindoe, just like the command and support ships of the ABSALON Class.

 | HMS Vanguard by Victory ModelsThis 74 gun Ship Of The Line was Nelson’s Flagship at the famous Battle Of The Nile on 1st/2nd August 1798. Nelson's Vanguard was designed by Slade (of Victory fame) and was one of fourteen 3rd rate 74 gun ships which formed the Arrogant class. The ship was ordered on 9th December 1779 and the keel laid down at Deptford on 16th October 1782. During this time, Britain was not at war so her build went ahead very slowly, being launched on 6th March 1787.
This superbly detailed kit from Victory Models has been designed and researched using the latest information and technologies available, making the kit very easy to build with no sacrifice to even the finest detail. As with all Victory Model designs, the kit features many innovations, like the pre-cut gun port patterns (eliminating the need to laboriously mark out and hand cut each port), proper 3D panelling detail, ultra-realistic chain plates, a fully detailed upper gun deck, photo-etched window frames which can be glazed, easy to follow step by step instructions and drawings and even an optional sail set complete with very detailed drawings.
