Mantua Model Boat Kits Suitable for Radio Control

These are the Mantua and Panart range of models that are designed to be built either as a static display kit or for radio control use. They are all highly detailed.
All of the main ply sections, frames keel etc. are laser cut to ensure accuracy. The hulls are usually doubled planked with pre-cut keels and frames. Hull planking usually consists of Lime, Mahogany or Walnut (with balsa being optional on a couple of models). The fittings supplied are made from various materials, including brass, white metal, walnut and boxwood. The decoration can be either a very thin laser cut ply and/or photoetched brass or cast. Comprehensive plans sheets and build instructions are included.

Venus R/C Sailing Yacht

 Panart's Venus is a semi-scale model of a modern high-speed ocean-going sailing boat with sporting pretensions. The model's outstanding features are its characteristically elegant appearance combined with simple construction.
Even in light winds the boat is capable of astonishing speeds, although it can also be sailed in moderate breezes.
