Graupner U-16 Mini U-Boat

Graupner U-16 Mini U-Boat

 The Graupner U16 is based on a submarine operated by the German Federal Navy. The sub features a real static diving system utilising a vertical movement motor which controls a flood tank. As the tank floods, the boat starts to sink under its own weight; it surfaces using the same method. The result is that the model can "hover" (remain stationary) in the water. Excellent manoeuvrability is obtained by the stern thruster combined with the relatively short hull - the model is shorter than scale. The drive battery can be charged quickly and easily, as the switch socket doubles as the charge socket. The two red searchlights glow when the boat is running, making the model look truly realistic. As the submarine is so small, it can easily be operated in the bath or an aquarium.

Operating instructions in German, English and French. Factory-assembled and painted model submarine, ready to run, with drive battery installed; radio control transmitter, battery charger and small items.

Graupner Mini Beast - Great White Shark Submarine

 In design the Graupner Mini Beast is loosely based on a Great White Shark, and is intended to look as realistic as possible. The sub exploits the static diving principle, i.e. the submerge motor pushes the model under water, where it maintains its position. The boat has slight residual buoyancy as a safety feature, so that it will always rise to the surface in an emergency, e.g. if the batteries are flat. The drive battery can be recharged quickly and easily using the charge station supplied; charge time is 10 minutes. Due to its small size, the model can easily be operated in the bath or any fairly large aquarium. Running time is up to 15 minutes.

Graupner Micro Magic Racing RTR Version

 Almost-Ready-to-Run (ARTR) Model
The racing Micromagic has been developed to reflect progress in the Micro Magic regatta scene. In it standard form the boat represents a modified version of the original model designed for the ambitious regatta skipper. It is intended to compliment the earlier Micro Magic which has proved to be very popular.

The racing Micro Magic features a carbon fibre rig with a slim 5mm diameter mast, improved sails and a completely new high quality set of plastic fittings. A new feature - unprecedented in a kit model is the variable position keel (fore and aft direction), which enables the operator to adjust the model very quickly to suit varying sailing conditions, and to meet with the operator's personal preferences.
The revised keel fin and rudder are of slightly reduced area and thinner profiles in order to reduce water resistance. The slightly heavier ballast bulb is also longer, resulting in enhanced directional stability.
