Semi-scale model of a pilot boat to 1 : 25 scale
No container ship or oil tanker would ever make it into port undamaged, or pass through the narrow shipping lanes, if they were not guided by an experienced pilot. Pilots have to be able to reach the ship concerned without delay, so they travel aboard fast, manoeuvrable pilot boats, which are capable of running alongside the large vessels even in the roughest of seas.

If you understand the fascination of these boats, then the Maris II is just the right model for you, as it is an unusual vessel which is not to be found at every boating lake. A simple but effective power system, fine detailing and an interesting colour scheme make our pilot boat an affordable beginner´s or second model.
