Originally a merchant brigantine it was transformed when it got into the hands of the corsairs, and fitted out with 16 cannons and 4 falconets, which all helped them to carry out their misdeeds with better chances of success. The corsair's "trade" was in many cases practiced with the permission of the state, giving them carte blanche for piracy.

Pre-cut wooden parts and double planking makes for a perfect hull. The fittings package coincludes: Boxwood blocks and deadeyes, brass chain, eyebolts and belaying pins, white metal life-boat and 16 brass cannon on gilded metal carriages. Four diameters of rigging, hand-sewn sails, flags and wooden display basel.
