Mamoli La Gloire French Frigate 1778 1:90 Scale

A 34-gun frigate belonging to the French Navy, La Gloire was launched in 1778. Her armament consisted of 26 twelve pound guns on the battery deck, plus 4 six pound guns and 4 carronades on the main deck. Mamoli's model shows her with wooden hull exposed during her first year of service. In June of 1779, her hull was sheathed with copper plates. La Gloire was planned by the shipbuilding engineer Guignace, and was launched at St.Malo in 1778.

The Mamoli La Gloire kit features the following:
A Double planked hull construction using Lime and Walnut strips, pre cut frames and keel, deck planked in tanganyika, fittings made from brass, walnut, boxwood, and Beech, wooden masts and spars, cast stern and quarter galleries, brass cannon barrels, rigging cord and silk flags. Full size plan sheets and a multi language instruction manual.
